You either have never been hustled or you really don't mind when thieves rob your local bank or store, and you probably wouldn't do anything if you saw something bad "going down" in the street either ... these things don't affect you, so they really doesn't matter, right?. Am I right?
Puretick are the kindly smiling douchebags who can't wait to slip their hand in your pocket and lift your wallet.
But like I said, if after all of this bad publicity someone still wants to sign-up with them, then I most definitely don't care. I've received PM's from the fools who have and wish they hadn't.
Enough of this, have a nice weekend.
Many of us started out trying all these rooms. We have pretty much found they play the same games - using:
-- faked testimonials instead of truth
-- using cherry picked examples instead or track records
-- claiming they were in a trade, when observers were not notified
-- offering to train you for $6000, and a teaching you little of benefit (except standar TA methods, etc.)
-- unaudited track records based on best of all worlds back test
-- using "maximum favorable excursion" as the trade profit
-- very short free trials
-- continuing to bill your credit card or making it complicated to quit
-- refusing to be independently monitored, when there are a half dozen free/cheap sites that can be used (Timertrac costs NOTHING)
99% of these rooms don't work. When the vendor keeps you guessing, then we can conclude they DON'T.
Puretick is not a money-making machine, it's an educational service that will dramatically decrease your learning curve.
It's your choice whether to actually trade room calls or not.
But speaking of education, i don't know anybody who does it better than Alex, especially for that price.

I haven't found anything in your posts that says anything about your credibility or your ability to judge others. Most of it is straight up bullying and name calling that would get your ass kicked into the concrete if you did it outside your comfort zone which is obviously (judging by the amount of your posts) behind your computer.
I really don't see where anyone really has a credible opinion without first hand knowledge. I am not part of the room, but this conversation about PT is really interesting. Maybe a thread should be started for members or past members only that can share their experiences, without being called a dolt/shill/whatever. I would not be able to post and neither would the other 2 dozen people who have certainly not been in there to see it for themselves. **shrugs** just an idea...

I certainly feel safe walking through Roosevelt Field with the knowledge Alex started his career as a Mall Cop patrolling the earing kiosks and hot pretzels in the '80's prior to driving a NYC taxi!
He definately worked his way up the corporate ladder into Manhattan from Long Island all the way out to Bumfuck, Pa.

I am not looking to gain favor with anyone in this post, which is simply my opinion based on my experience, not on talk, at this point in time, subject to change whenever I see fit. As a paying observer and simulator of PureTick whilst I work my own ER2 and YM system, I came across these ET threads about PureTick. I read them all, not out of an abundance of time, but to compare the fire that bred all of this smoke with what I have seen myself this year from PureTick.
I agree that Alex is brash in the room at times. That comes with passion. I prefer a teacher who tells it like it is, rather than one who babies you into a sense of security. When trading, numbers don't lie and they sure don't comfort when you're wrong. So in those instances, I would rather him be brash than coddling.
I saw many ET posts full of emotion and personality. That's great for wasting time after trading, but I don't give a rat's ass about someone's personality if their system is doing better than mine. Are we talking about money here or political correctness? If emotions are an element of a trader's decisions, including evaluating a system, I suggest that trader go back to the basics before tackling any system.
I agree that posting anonymous or third-party collected results would gain favor in the camp of comparison with other services. However, you must be a student first and learn the system, then follow the signals implicitly, to achieve and surpass the posted results. His is not a push-button semi-auto-trade system, you actually must learn or you will lose money. That said, if a trader is not mentally geared for scalping, is a newbie trader with little futures experience, or is not willing to learn prior to pushing the button, I can see why they would write negative posts about PureTick.
I agree that the financial committment is more than I would choose to enforce to maximize results. I would like to see all of Alex's tools offered with the monthly fee, since trading his system without those tools is not wholly effective. But having developed several SQL Server databases and Visual Basic applications for license, I can see the simplicity in making them available separately to those who want to make the additional investment. They are not critical for learning the basics of his system, but they are required for signal recognition and true working of your own trades within his system.
I do not like that recent room transcripts are not available on the PT site for evaulation. That is a mistake, in my opinion, one that can be reversed with little effort.

If your own system does better than Alex's claimed results, then keep doing what you are doing. If not, then pony up and try it. I find them to be conservative, if you learn and execute well.

I said they are crap.
I know they are crap based on:
1. What other knowledeable traders have said.
2. My own analysis of what takes place in their room.
3. Their constant shilling and hustling and refusale to show their records ... or post consistent trading performance.
Now, if what I said doesn't make sense to you, that's your shortcoming, not mine.
If you really want to know what happens in their room (despite the profusion of information available at this site), give them your money and findout ... oh yeah, be sure to use your credit card, and also giving them your banking information would help a lot.
Oh yeah, your statements about kicking the crap out of someone are just as valid over the internet ...
If you're that hard-up for a system that scalps the YM for 5 points a contract while risking 45 YM points, join them.
... the fact that you are so curious about them tells me you probably can't trade worth a damn, anyway.They have plenty of transcripts you can read that discuss what goes on in their room, from the tone of your post, I confident you will feel quite at home with them.
Edit: According to the previous poster who IS a user, they aren't posting transcripts anymore, why?
I would not dare to speculate, as I would be called mean, bullying and a jerk, but probably because the information would show that what the knowledgeable traders are saying here is true ... :eek:
