Real nice to follow along!

Good deal...I know I look for a lot of CT trades but the levels seem to work for me. There was good evidence of a possible pullback and I'll post a chart in a bit but I just have a hard time believing some of this PA a day before rollover.

This test of the low will be interesting

higher hi on lower vol into an area of res. I trade I am normally all over but I just had a bad feel for the mkt today. Reactions in areas was not as expected several times today.

We opened @ 67.25 and that provided res for the 1st hour of the day. The 71.5-73 area was tested in a fast move with decent vol. It was the hi on 6/7. The 78 was a good area but the low vol on all of the rtc waves led me to believe that the pull back was only temporary.

the 61 area, I've been looking at all week...1060 was a hi vol area yest afternoon. A strong move down with decent selling pressure just before the LOD and yest hi, needed a little room to punch thru to 1060.25 before oscillating around the 1062 level for 10 mins...this is what I mean by watching PA instead of just having a price level and resting an order there...hope that makes sense.

56.5 and 52 areas were decent as well. If I were trading this PM session from the short side I would look to these areas for tgts. If trading from the Long side, they would be areas I would be looking at for entries

rollover data giving me some issues this AM. Need to sort things out and equalize my data and calm down before I will even think about trading.I've been using a new platform for 6 months or so and although it is fantastic, it has some issues. Rollover is one of them!!!

Forgot to ask this earlier....does anyone look at ATR & if so does it help?

Maybe it would help with target-setting, but on the other hand if you use levels from previous days they are anyways bigger when ATR is bigger so doesnt really add anything. just my 2c

yest ATR was about 27.5. looking at the HOD, might not have been a bad area to take profits....no matter where one might have been short from. SO from a target setting standpoint I agree but also use it to consider whether or not to take entries or be patient. Not a stand alone method but it's such an easy thing to monitor that I always like to know where I am in terms of range. Just my thoughts
