As pointed out, the name refers to a portion of the Sinai desert previously occupied nomadically by the Bedouin.

What is being seen in Europe and around the world is simple antisemitism. As the world tilts to the left the liberals are more comfortable exhibiting their feelings towards jews openly.

It comes down to capitalists versus socialists.

As to the author of the Bible, my vote is Aesop or the Grimm brothers. The Koran, the Torah, and the Bible are all fairy tales written by unknown persons of questionable sanity and sobriety. At least Aesop and Grimm Brothers works are readable and contain wisdom the average person can understand and use...

Religion is just a means to subjugate the masses. Their "bibles" are merely tools used to "prove" and justify their existence... Circular reference - a religion can't exist without being ordained by God, but you can't "prove" God ordained the religion w/o a Bible with God's word ordaining the religion....

In the same vein, the US Code is the US Government's "Bible" that both justifies and proves it's existence....

Put that cynicism in your pipe and smoke it...
