Well, the only surviving Swedish major car manufacturer is owned by China these days, so... Though they keep around research and production here, for now. TBH they are better owners than Ford that nearly killed the company, probably a case for long term view versus by quarter capitalism.

We do got one truck manufacturer that's still independent though.

The burning of plastics releases toxic gases like dioxins, furans, mercury and polychlorinated biphenyls (better known as BCPs) into the atmosphere, and poses a threat to vegetation, and human and animal health.

Dioxins settle on crops and in our waterways where they eventually enter our food and hence our bodies. These dioxins are potentially lethal persistent organic pollutants that can cause cancer and disrupt thyroid and respiratory systems.

Key is to burn the plastic at a high temperature that destroy the dioxins. I belive they inject oil into the chamber if needed to keep the temperature above an certain level.

Burning plastic in open-air is very bad.

Never heard of recycling? We recycle 100,000 ton of plastic every year.
