puddles 2011 trade journal (formerly a 70k bet..)

BIDU strong from lunch, SPY drifting lower
- I called it prior to 2 but didn't want to take a trade until 2
- nic takes.. I chase it..
- out -0.25 (nic's fault)

We have totally different entries and exits...you are generally getting in where I am getting out and vice versa.

Hopefully Geez is back soon and you can stop blaming all these on me. :p

it was more that before my entry i was watching it but not making any money on it and you were long the whole time..

and don't worry, when (if?) he comes we'll still keep blaming you. :)

- SPY gapped down and put a small up move in before heading lower
- RIMM weak from the open
- Short under the tight bar
- Straight to stop, then tanks (but not to tgt). If i used an .01 stop this would have been a b/e trade
- out -0.19

- Big sell bar, little pullback
- Looks like SPY is setting up to put in another lower high for another leg down
- I'm fractically looking at the potential shorts my scanner is throwing at me and nothing looks particularly good. I'd be looking for stocks weaker than the market which arn't bouncing as hard as SPY
- Unable to find such stock I just short SPY.. Never have to worry about slippage with SPY
- As most of my trades have been going the last week, SPY reverses straight at my target
- Hits tgt 30 minutes after stop out
- out -0.19

- perfect morning gap play, couldn't pull the TGT order in time as the stock just let go (I knew it had a lot more in it)
