Does seem rather pointless doesn't it?

On the other hand, it also seems rather pointless for the several $400M+ market cap companies that applied for sub $2M loans. Seriously, did they really stop to think if it was worth the publicity and whatever greed they needed to tend in order to screw the several dozen small businesses that actually desperately needed that money, in order to get an amount that doesn't even move the needle for them? Assholes, I hope it costs them far more than that in legal fees and lost business!
