Psychopath "Tells"

12 years as a police officer and I only met 1 true sociopath, and 1 true psychopath.
The psychopath could function, but barely. He fought like a man possessed of demons. I had a shoulder problem for years due to that fight. Thankfully I had a partner who helped me out.
The sociopath could function very well.
In my personal life I found a sociopath in my extended family.
Thankfully she left the family and moved thousands of miles away.
Autism and sociopathy have nothing to do with each other.
The sociopath that was in my extended family was hard to spot, but she raised the "cop hairs" on the back of my neck the minute I met her. Couldn't put it all together until a drastic change in her life made her reveal her Un-Humanity very fast.
The transformation was shocking.
Anyways, even the trained have a hard time spotting sociopaths in every day life. But if you ever meet a true psychopath, you'll know it.

Some of your list is unreliable. The main 2 signs of a psychopath or sociopath are lack of empathy for other people/human suffering, and a chaotic lifestyle. If you google for psychologist-approved tests to detect these people, those are the two main characteristics they scan for. Other characteristics are probably superfluous or coincidental.
Chaotic Lifestyle, that's what I'm talking about... but you have to know them a little to know that about them... unpaid bills, living off of other people, etc.. you have to know them a little bit to know that about them.. I wonder if there aren't just mannerisms.. the wide-eyed stare is for sure a Tell afaik.. I'm watching two of them that I do know a bit about. One played the "victim card" right off and turned it into an attempted small con where I showed her around town and paid for things... I watched her real closely as I told her that if she couldn't pay for stuff she had to put it back on the shelf, then we split a sweet bread and I observed that she was VERY concerned about getting her half.. so self centeredness shows itself pretty muchly up front... I met her sister and it turns out that her "victim card story" is entirely fabricated...
So Autism is not the correct way to look at them.. I could change that to "undeveloped"..
If they are Narcissistic they are emotional three year olds and they indeed do think they are the center of the universe. Narcisstic people just don't get it when others don't play the game they want when they want...
One of them is just an absurd liar.. he talks of fights he won and then later I talk to people that were on the scene and the truth is that he got his ass handed to him... and he's in his 60's and gets in fights!! I suppose that fighting is a part of a chaotic lifestyle LOL
Seriously Google dsm iv. I don't know your source but this thread is full of bad info. I get the impression you guys watch too many bad movies and television shows. Kind of like learning to trade by watching boiler room or whatever that stupid movie was called.
And what does this psychopath garbage have to do with trading?..................
