Prove to me that Technical Analysis Works.

Thank you for your proving my point.
When someone mentions people who made money using TA, you come with a cop-out

Generating 8 or 9% per year with Technical Analysis and being so proud and warm of your accomplishment is nothing to brag about.
That's rather laughable performance. Just invest in the S&P -- and do something else with your time.

Some people spend so much time of their lives doing this trading clown business....when their returns are essentially nothing. Just invest in the S&P, for goodness sake.

It's easy to sound, and look like, an expert on Wall Street -- but it's completely another thing to actually deliver sizable returns,

MaxBoo, you have no method and everybody knows it. lol.
Relax, have a homebrew and try to imagine posting useful actionable content for traders.

Any asshole can be a nattering nabob of negativism to deflect from a lack actual expertise.
And you my friend are one of the sterling examples on display throughout ET recently.

Prove me wrong.
Show me what you're working with.
Cheers!

I hate it when guys mention fund managers as super successful and intelligent, genius traders.
They all averaged like 14% or 8% per year. Nothing profound or amazing.

They got rich by recruiting a ton of money into their fund, and collecting the standard 2% management fee, and 20% net profits performance fee. Just letting that sh8t grow and compound throughout all those years, decades.

Are you able to grow 2K into 100K over and over and over and over again?
If not, that was a fluke. If so, you must have a net worth in the tens of millions,
What time frame was that, how long did it take you on that journey from 2K to 100K?
Paul Tudor Jones started out with 5 straight years of 100% returns annually on $10s and $100s of millions of dollars in the early 1980s. All of these guys are more talented than you.

Well, what happened? It's meaningless for a trader to have huge deviations in their record. That indicates Gambling, not skill.
I'm not impressed with Paul Tudor Jones.

Now, if PTJ averaged 100% returns annually for 30 years.....then that would be considered Touched by God. Genius. Struck by Lightning and Thunder.

Do you know why the S&P moved up on Friday? Can you reasonably, loosely, establish why?
Would you have established the general market movement before the opening bell?
Would you have the conviction to buy around 10:10 and hold and sell till around 3:20?
If someone understands this, and can do this everyday....that's the Holy Grail, the ultimate market skill,

You can't day trade $10 billion dollars.

MaxBoo, we've heard your coulda, woulda, shoulda song and dance several times before.
It don't say shit.
You got any actionable content?
Yes or No mr Boo.

You made a statement, it was interesting enough to research more of your perspective.

It was a conversational way to ask if you built a method from the bottom up or had asymmetrical access to information.

If you want to troll me about it, ok.

My swing strategy matured in last year.
My intraday strategy is still in experiment and I expect it to profit significantly higher return than my swing trade strategy. They both use the same method.

OK, You posted a couple of charts so let us see your time stamped trade getting long around 10:10 and selling around 3:20. Serious question here: Are you all talk or did you actually make this trade. It is easy to identify this trade after the fact. A 10 minute chart and any basic moving average clearly shows what a nice trade that would have been.
