Protests in at least 140 US cities

Yep I live near one of the hot spots.

Protests began and protests and after nightfall descended into violence. Rioters are shooting at police officers and it's only a matter of time before the military is brought in.

We were just starting to normalize after the coronavirus. Millions of Americans will never forget what these "protesters" did to us. My favorite restaurants, all small businesses, have been looted or torched. I just can't believe the levels these people will stoop to.

I actually kind of get the rioting. The social contract is broken.

They kneel and are told that’s not the way to protest. They see white protestors walking around with ar-15s and are told that those people are “fine.” How else are they supposed to be heard? It’s populism the other way.

It's incredible a protest with armed people managed to be peaceful but a protest lead by left wing extremists couldn't be peaceful for 24 hours.

Almost like there's two different people in the world and lawful gun owners are normal and respectful people while left wingers are mentally underdeveloped animals.

Glug glug glug keep drinkin that Anderson Cooper racist anti-gun koolaid though.

I know a trainer for the police force. He says he knows which trainees will be trouble as soon as they land in his class. Little napoleon complex pipped up on steroids, etc. He says once they pass the psychological eval which is before training its too late for him to do anything.

I blame more the honest cops who look the other way. "dude can you please get your knee off his neck buddy". "Or hey Ill handle it from here"

Whatever it is, President Trump was voted in by the Americans.
ie most Americans liked him.

President Xi of China was not voted in by the Chinese citizens.
In fact, where is no voting system.

Humans are humans. Humans have been programmed to be filled with greed and fear.
This is similar to trading. When you are filled with greed or fear,
your end result is negative.


So which system is better? Capitalist or communist?
Only TIME will tell.

But one thing we know;

There is a distinction between legitimate protestors and opportunists (rioters/looters/provocateurs) co-opting the movement to their own personal agendas.

A Canadian professor (Mia Bloom), expert in political violence, warned today that the situation will get worse in the US. There are groups who want to cause a civil war in the US. She mentioned clearly groups from left as well as from right.

If that would happen, Trump can put away his red hat "Make America great again".

Oh wow....this professor hasn't a clue. Never going to happen....going to get worse? Like I said in the next week or two everyone will be looking to go to the beach and drink their IPA while eating their fancy $17 salad, you think they will be wasting time protesting looting and rioting? Absolutely NOT. These protests are over soon.

There is a disenfranchised pool of ~40 million unemployed. For every $1200 given to an individual, Wall St received ~$18k.

Maybe what you say is true, idk how many $17 salads an unemployed person can eat.
