Another point is the DC and Capitol police did according to the acting chief actually had a lot mobilised and indicate they stopped a lot of people coming in. It would have been an awful lot worse.

That would be most excellent. However, my understanding is that it would probably take a longer time to effect the 25th than Trump has remaining in office. Trump would have the right to contest the effort. And we all know how he would drag his feet, as we all saw him walk down that ramp.
