Yeah it is a full on wealth transfer to the East.

Was "transferred" to the Arabs in the 70's, to the Japanese in the 80's, to the Chinese in the 2000's. The Chinese will shortly be what the Arabs and the Japanese are now: a second rate player in the global game. As manufacturing gets repatriated (and robotized), they will lose their current relevance.

There shouldn't be any problem as such when the period from 16th century to 20th century observed tremendous transfer of wealth and resources to the West from the East !

Enjoy Karma's orientation in Economical sense too :p

A Chinese man was beaten by Tibetan authorities at 25,000 feet while he was trying to reach mount Everest . This could spark tensions in those regions.

Why would they do that?

Why would anyone protest Cheesecake Factory? Oh, nvm.

No I meant why would someone attack someone else at the top of a mountain. It is a bit dangerous.

This is nothing new, tibetan groups have been attacking han chinese for years. The most recent was early this year, they basically rode into a city in a few trucks, got off, and started killing all han chinese they see with butcher knives and bricks, and not just the men. The government had to mobilize the military in that incident and sealed off the city to catch those fuckers.

Most of those incidents are complete blackout and never reported by the chinese government in fear of creating further violence and revenge attacks from the rest of the country against tibetan.

So all you see on tv is the nice old man dalai lama preaching peace + love, and the evil baby killing chinese suppressing tibetans. It's ironic that in reality those tibetans enjoy far greater economic incentives than any other part of the country, they are also allowed complete freedom of religion...

I will end by saying it's only a small part of tibetan population, most like the rest of humanity couldnt give two shits, all they want is making money and take care of their family like everyone else and favor the chinese government because of the free money they get.
