Protecting Assets From a Divorce

<i>"Hey - if you believe in love then I have a romance novel to sell to you..."</i>

Basic human nature will never change, which is why financial markets are so utterly predictable. On a parallel plane man's eternal stupidity about the realities of women will never change.

Some of us are living all of your absolute wildest fantasies every day... day after day. Maybe one day you'll finally figure it out for yourselves. Then again, probably not.

Gotta admit, this was an amusing thread. Ran its course.

You and those two buffoons listed above need to understand and implement what some of us already know as "secrets to success" with the right women. If and when y'all do that, Hugh Hefner & Snoop Dogg will both be begging you to please let them take notes.

David DeAngelo, aka Eben Pagan is one of the best online marketing guys out there. He has several site's and services in addition to double your dating and makes several million dollars per month. He is a great salesman, which probably helps him a lot with the ladies actually.

Raising children. Little humans with half your DNA crave good environments.

If you are not ready to make that commitment - why get married. (even if you have serious religious belief - seriously consider your reasons.)

If you are like almost all the couples I have ever met - after 10 years of marriage - most of the reasons you got married are not so compelling 10 years into the relationship.

Apologies to the few exceptions.

Agreed. Feelings are no reason to marry, as they fade with time. If your primary reason for wanting to marry is for love or because she's the hottest thing on two legs, just write her a blank check NOW and skip the heartache.

Married 22 years. I still check out her ass when she bends over. :D

Because in the US we teach children that they are not allowed to hug, kiss, touch (holding hands), etc. with members of the opposite sex even after these "children" are very much adults from a biological standpoint.

Then from a religious standpoint they are told they may not have intercourse unless or until they are married.

A hug from mommy just does not cut it at age 17.

I know many people who were "faithful to society and their god" who got married at age 18. I need not tell you how it goes thereafter; that's a given.

I find this the perfect thread to raise the following issue:

In the academic environment (post secondary education) we are taught we are free to express our differing opinions as long as we do it with respect.

I think we can all agree we can sit in Economics 101 and debate protectionism vs. taffifs without calling each other assholes because our opinions differ. The same holds true regardless of the subject or our opinion. Whether it's religion, economics, politics, etc. we can debate the issue in a classroom without feeling ridiculed.

So why then can't people in public forums debate or discuss an issue without resorting to childish behavior? Why are persons with differing opinions riduculed to such an extent?

Maybe your experience is that marriage sucks; that's fine. Feel free to tell us why it did not work for you. Maybe others can benefit from your experience. And please tell us why it did work for you. Hopefully many more can learn how to make their marriage better.

But this childish behavior which is predominant in almost every public forum on almost every website either needs to go or maybe we should just get rid of them all. Which is it?

Because in real life if you call someone a fag, or you call his wife a whore you are likely to get your ass kicked. On the internet the majority of people use an fake "handle" and they are fairly safe from any of the blowback of something they might say. It's actually rather unfortunate in my opinion.

Try getting a mood-ring. My wife bought me one and now she wants me to get rid of it. Seems that when I'm in a good mood it turns bright green and when I'm in a bad mood it leaves a black mark on her forehead.

This is so wrong on so many level that it is not even funny.

OK a little bit, but still oh so wrong! (being serious here).

Political correctness is so putrid that it has no sense of humor. It is funny unless you're a pussified slave to feminists.
