Yup difference between trading and pretend trading.
You only need 1 good trade per year.

What's your timeframe?Over the years I have heard people say "Never trade over a wifi connection". I recently switched internet providers and am thinking of getting rid of my home router and just using the ISP wireless connection.
All my devices (Desktop, TV, Printer and other devices) are capable of using wifi. It is a secure home connection. Is there any reason specifically why I shouldn't trade over a wireless connection?
I wouldn’t trust it. I want my own hardwired connection to trade. My time frame is short term as in 5 minutes and under. I always use a stop and targets I live in a rural area 300 yards from the road and only one neighbor within wifi range. I use ninjatrader and they recently added a phone trading app I could use to get out of a trade if the computer goes down.
BTW- I can't believe (but very pleased) that they installed fiber on my road. There are only 10 houses on the 3 mile stretch of road.
I have fiber direct to my home. I am considering using the wifi that is included with my direct-to-home fiber; not "community wifi".I wouldn’t trust it. I want my own hardwired connection to trade.
Shit man peeps pay hundreds of thousands to be in a cage to have hookups and ur using community wifi? Invest in a landline.
…ooh I thought you meant the general WiFi from your ISP.I have fiber direct to my home. I am considering using the wifi that is included with my direct-to-home fiber; not "community wifi".
Lol do you fly in cardboard airplanes? Mine is a 40 ft Diesel Pusher. Kinda like a small home on wheels lol. I prefer sleeping in my own bed.And I don't know why someone would travel in a cardboard box on wheels. Had a brother-in-law in the business for 30 years and having owned one myself (Class C) for 4 years using it a total of 3 times. Never again. I like to get there, not gooooo there.
Anything and anybody at any time of course can be hacked.
But why make it, relatively speaking, easier even if chances of it happening are slim?
Agree but ease of installation? Maybe some experience trouble initially. Home I moved into 10 years ago was already wired for Comcast so I just plugged and played after get my own modem/router permissioned. Now community is switching over to Hotwire past month or so, I'll see how that goes. It's not just the password cracking part. You can force anyone off wi-fi fairly easily and then there are more sophisticated things like DHCP attacks. Anyone nearby could be doing it.
Even without security issues, you have a more unstable connection and worse latency on wifi.
A wired connection is simply better in all aspects except ease of installation.
