Habakkuk 1:6-7 [God said] I am raising up the Babylonians, that ruthless and impetuous people, who sweep across the whole earth to seize dwelling places not their own. They are a feared and dreaded people; they are a law to themselves and promote their own honor.
God said this to Habakkuk when the Jews were starting to stray from Gods word.
When a powerful nation starts to stray from God, he often raises up its enemies, to bring destruction to that nation to show that a nation does not become great and prosperous because of their own doing,but they became great because God blessed them. God will let you have a first hand taste of the ruthlessness of a people that worship a false god, so that you can know how good of a God he is and how good your life was before you turned from God.
Look how bad its gotten in the US....People will tell you bad is good and good is bad. As soon as you enter jr. high school, people start telling you that its bad to wait until marriage and you are a fool if you do and you will be mocked. They tell you its ok to be a homosexual and there is nothing wrong with it. They tell you if you get pregnant, it's perfectly ok to have the baby aborted. They will tell you pornography is ok. They will tell you drugs are ok. If you go to church, they will tell you that you are a brainless fool. When men & women look for lifelong partners, their mates character is the last thing that is looked at and generally not with any importance.
The US has started to become an enemy of God. Why do you think we have had so many problems lately?
Fortunately most of us on here will never understand your bizarre interpretative of the scriptures.
