During the Live chat you pointed out that tape reading is harder to do in today's markets due the fragmented order flow.
But you also pointed out that if you knew proper tape reading skills when it was pertinent it was just like picking up free money off the floor.
What types of strategies would you say are the pertinent techniques to "pick up free money off the floor" in today's markets?

But I also find it hard to believe that you would share any real edge that you and your traders have.

The cost of acquiring the arb today has never been higher. The arb by definition implies a risk free transaction. So really any of the above would apply. Of course the little guy has no shot at executing any of these. Even Citadel is struggling to get these arbs off and they own all the order flow!!!!!

i think it is a little sad that "picking up free money" for the 20th century <b>(for 100 years)</b> was done by the hard work of learning to Read The Tape...
but now in the 21st century its paying for Arb info... and that is even if you can get it or and even then execute it...
