Prop future traders - how much commish per RTP

Hi,

I am starting to trade prop(futures) and i am curious to know what is the average commission that prop shop trader pay for one round trip ( e-mini SP).

Varies greatly from firm to firm, especially for CME products because being a full member as opposed to other types of memberships makes a huge difference in exchange fees.

I pay $4.75 for eminis - advantage is i trade equities, options and futures all from one platform all in one account.

$4.75 is more like a retail rate. I was talking about sub $0.40 RT up to $1.50 RT for futures prop shops.

You can go to each exchagnce web site find out what the exchange charges. You should not be paying over .25-.30 cents per side in straight comms per side. That is on the high side of comptetive chicago rates.
