Prop firm won't send check to close my account

I agree with cooldude. You could be alerting others to watch out for this firm instead of setting up new accounts. In addition, if others are in this situation, you might be able to help each other. Splitting up attorney fees can save you a lot of money!

by the way did u get your money - ? what going on
I closed my account at a prop firm as i blew my account a little i was supposed to get my cheque on the 7 or 21( cheque day ) and they manager calls me on the 21 like 8.11 in the morning while i am sleeping eheheheh
ANd i was like hello he is like you cheque is ready u can come and pick it up any time : ) wtf :)

I have to say good service does count and make a customer happy no matter which prop firm it is.

I know he offers some excellent stuff!!!

An Update:
Money is supposed to arrive no later than Saturday mail arrival.
We'll see....several promises-to-date have been blown-off.
The clearing firm has been of little help....natch...the owner of the prop firm is a former employee. I am still considering filing with the NASD/SEC/Attorney General's office.

A Note on Prop Firms:
Yes, service counts, but so does CREDIBILITY.
Benchmarq's website is not working....and that makes them look shaky. I told Nick about it already.
Moral: Don't put-up a website unless it has been tested and works as designed.
