Prop firm resources

Where can I find information/ressources about a prop firm?
Basically I am trying to find out if there have been any complaints/litigations/negative reviews about a few prop firm to be sure I am not starting my trading career working in the wrong place.

I have checked sec.gov and called them but sec mostly deal with firms which deal with the public.

I would really appreciate your help as I have received a few offers.

thanks for the link, but would there be something more official than that?? like a government agency or regulator?

besides word of mouth and my feeling about a prop firm there is basically now way to know if I am going to be trading at a good place?
