Prop firm deposit 10-30k 100% payout?

Quote from Lights:

I wouldn't deposit a dime in a shop that has customers and also trades it's own accounts. CONFLICT.

i think most do just like prop firms commingle funds too.

There is absolutely no hedge that is going to save one from 30-1 or 40-1 leverage. Ask Jon Corzine.

+1. see my thread "the dangers of excessive leverage"

As normally happens I point out a problem with bright trading and then get ignored.

Hope maverick74 enjoys trading ONLY stocks below $100.

Now let me answer this idiots(brokerboy) question here.

Dumbass(brokerboy) if you can read the $10k was for the entire year 2012 so far I counted the great move AAPL made on those 2 glorious days which also helped out.

Waiting for DON to respond . . .

wts is crap do a search on here. they hide all the fees till you send them money then attached whole bunch of fees to your account. or change payout levels from what was agreed.

Yes. I can testify since this happened to me!!!!!!!!

I was like..what are those bull shit fees?

Quote from Zr1Trader:

I never understood why people go to a prop. Why not just use forex or futures to get the leverage they seek? What justifies trading stocks intraday and paying a prop shop a % of gains over trading futures or forex and keeping 100% of what one makes? Is it supposedly easier to make money in stocks or something I'm not aware of? Honestly curious about it.

Is the main incentive to join a prop supposed to be the training, ongoing support, good execution, platform, data ect?

It is infinitely easier to judge where a single stock will move rather than the entire market index. Stocks are much less efficient than futures or forex. Inefficiency = money.

There are thousands of stocks to choose from each day. Only a hand full of futures/forex to trade.
