Promise Kept: Trump Declares a New Era, Officially Recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's Capital

I doubt that this action will make peace more likely in the short term. What I do like is that he is finally bringing things to a head, with this and in other decisions. Time to quit kicking cans down the road and deal with the problems we have. Short term pain will lead to long term gains.

I'm particularly confused by the general claim that this move will "damage the peace process".

What peace process? The PA has institutionalized terrorism funded by NGOs, various governments and established terror groups. The Palestinians, if such a thing even exists, have declined 3 full blown peace deals. There isn't a peace process at all.

The Arabs had better move on and be worried what the *next* major move will be if they continue to sponsor terrorism. The new paradigm is that the PLO will keep paying big prices until they come to the table in good faith.

I agree but realize terrorists will be using this as an excuse
