It seems I cannot freely discuss my plans for founding an investment firm here, I rather would need to have a Vendor Account for this type of discussions.

I already have successfully survived such selloffs... :) Even a 9% selloff! I'm using auto-hedging... :)
Sorry, I won't disclose my method... :)

AND: I have made not a single closing trade yet! Yeaaaaaaahhhhhh! :D

I took a quick look, looks good, my only concern is that the correlation to gold is too big. Good luck with it, I suspect time will bring down the performance, it always does....

Thanks. Yeah, I don't want to disrespect marsman by staying off-topic.

But I would finally just like to add that I'm approaching your 8 mo. forecast...so we'll see. :)

[What I usually see happen, is that the doom deadline moves as each one is successfully passed: 6mos. then becomes 1 year, then 2 years, etc.]

Fair enough. Anyhow, I don't think we asked you about back testing. Have you ran backtests when the market/your stocks took a dive and what was the result? What was the correlation to the market? And if you haven't back tested it, you should over the weekend. Let's say, this year's Jan-Feb looks like a period I would back test....

Marsman himself is all over the place so I'm not sure why the attempt at trying to stay on topic. First he argues with everyone... blocks a bunch of people... says later that he cleared his blocked list... pretends he doesn't want anything from anyone.... then makes it seem like he is looking for investors, you know, to share the wealth, etc. and all that bullshit.

Now that he has openly said he is looking for money, perhaps instead of being hard on everyone posting in his journal, you should take some extra time to figure out what he is up to act appropriately.
