We both came to the conclusion that adding more partners (ie. investors) will bring us faster to realize the plans we have made (ie. founding/registering an investment firm in a tax-haven country etc.).

I am sorry, but your partner wouldn't get a profit share if I let you trade MY money, (the agreement would be between you and me) so how is that good for him? Actually, if our agreement is better than his (better profitshare for you), there is a danger of I courting you away with a "no trading for others" clause.

So that reasoning just doesn't fly....

After 6-8 months there is almost no high flying system. (or a few that had a big jump months earlier) The longer you go, the less you will find. The best long term performance (at least 3 years of trading) for a system the annual return was 38%.

Just go to The Grid, and you can do searches. Put in specific data (number of trades, age of system, min. % return, etc.) and you can see.

I was just curious.

I have a 'high flying' system on C2...going on 7 mos. I like locking doubters into time frames. :)

It depends on the agreement we make. The agreement would be between you and us, not just me.
You would just add your investment into our trading account. Ie. we dont trade your account, nor do we trade your money any seperately.

I did a quick search, after 8 months I found only 14 high flying systems, and each one had horrendous equity curves. The DD was either huge, or the big gain happened months ago and since then not much. In short, I wouldn't back any of them....

Why would Backer #2 make a deal with Backer #1? What is the connection? Backer #2 is only interested in your talent, not in Backer #1's money....

Mine hasn't be there 8 months yet, so it wasn't in your 14. I said I'm going on 7 months. My curve is fine. Not martingale. DD 28%.

What's the system?
Hopefully it's ok to say. I didn't intend to have to 'defend' my system; only to lock in a time frame as I see so many people saying what is impossible for other people to do.

@gkishot, here's the answer:

Are you licensed to manage other people's money? How does it work?
"

Currently not, but we think about it, that we later maybe hire a licensed manager or so. But it's too early for this atm.

My offer was just of a private kind, like between family and friends.

Btw, we also researched forming a so called "investment club". It sounds interesting, but I think a normal company/firm in a tax-haven is IMO much better.

And in these 2 threads we also discussed with many others solutions for saving/avoiding taxes:
