• Background Info
  Schedule F stems from a Trump Executive Order (no longer in effect) in which tens of thousands of civil servants who serve in roles deemed to have some influence over policy would be reassigned as "Schedule F" employees. These employees would lose their employment and union protections upon re-assignment, making them functionally at-will employees and therefore far easier to fire. Further, Schedule F defies merit principles and instead would require political loyalty to a President. NFFE is taking action to ensure Schedule F cannot be imposed by future Presidents.
  
  The Saving the Civil Service Act (H.R. 1002 / S. 399) would prevent a future Schedule F and would ensure the civil service system cannot be politically manipulated.

So I just received this back from a friend who is at the head of a state campaign. His view, unless the field improves, yes, this is still how it is.

Indeed AOC and Sanders are towing the party line,and will lose the support of many of their supporters.Their endorsement wont help Biden,just piss off the people who support them because of democrats like Biden.

AOC and Bernie are 2 of my regulars that I donate to every election,not anymore as they support someone like Biden for President.Their donations will be going to Dr West in 2024 and other Green Party candidates thereafter.Every year they send me emails asking for money,I will be letting them know I will no longer be supporting their campaigns and to take me off their donor list and the reason why.That goes for any candidate I support that endorses Biden.
