Yep, my most non-political relative messages me with "Will you be joining us in Gilead this Christmas?". I can't say its not in the realm of what I thought they might be up to while keeping people focused on the antics of MTG and Boebert etc but I have a lot of really dark thoughts. Most of them about killing Bannon, but in fun ways.

What is "Unreal"? That a political party is making an organized, detailed, and public effort o address current systemic deficiencies in politics, economics, the media, and culture?

A fundamental principle in deciding which side is more credible is to consider the relative flow of information. Is one side more transparent and forthcoming than the other, for example. Project 25 certainly has met that standard through its detailed information. It seems the Left is usually busy in reframing or recharacterizing events or people in order to maintain their narratives for political gain. As long as Democrat and media distortion of the truth gets them what they want, they will continue. We will see if enough people are fed up with the Biden Administration to be open to alternatives.

Have you seen the PBS Frontline interview of Bannon (YouTube)? I think there may be two interviews by now. Not sure. Anyway, the first was after Trump was elected but before the 2020 election:

Extremely interesting glimpse into Bannon's psyche.

My impressions: Intelligent, reasonably well educated, ultra ambitious, excellent recall and extremely quick on his feet; not deterred by inaccuracies, and probably unaware of them; could sell ice to Eskimos and get rich doing it. Believable, charismatic and likeable; is neither deterred by nuance or concerned about it...has learned enough about a lot to be as dangerous as any charismatic person in power when outside their expertise, and when not constrained by others with deeper knowledge; makes decisions rapidly and acts on them, and therefore capable of accomplishing much in a short time; Confident; Colorful; instinctively knows which people are susceptible and what they want to hear; wants to be in charge; not entirely in touch with his weaknesses; not ethically restrained. His upbringing heavily influences his worldview.

After viewing the Frontline video it was clear that Bannon was fully aware that Trump was deeply flawed. I believe he used the adjective "flawed" to refer to Trump; yet he, Bannon, intentionally helped unleash Trump on us. That's why Bannon scares the shit out of me. I guess he was thinking, "Trump is a useful idiot for my purposes."

Now there are two bright, capable people to play starring roles in my nightmares : Mike Pompeo, and Steve Bannon!

Yes, very similar to my take. Mostly the only bad decision is not making one, guys like that make a lot of progress but he is not ethically restrained.

He has a vision but it's going to turn into crisis after crisis after crisis.
