Any IB programmers, Is it possible to get the BBO for each individual ECN thru the ActiveX api?
I want my program to track the prices on each ECN individually. I have a program that works when using "Smart", but market data not flowing when using "ISLD" or "INCA" in the request mkt data connect.
Using VB/ActiveX API. I don't need to route orders directly, I can use Smart, just need to get the prices individually.

You would need to specify ISLAND, INSTINET or whatever ECN you want. IB does not use short abbreviations for the ECNs. We use socket connections instead of ActiveX, but that should work the same way.
