ProfLogic's Method

Did anyone catch the late day selloff yesterday? Nice 2401 ERG osc down around 3:28pm. Had to ride out a short run up but then it was a nice drop. 16807 was prime as well.

Does anyone trade that late in the day or do you usually hang it up by then?

Thanks

Confirmation of a Prime Trending Oscillations comes from the creation of Prime Trading Oscillations the same way High Tide and Low Tide POINTS (Prime Trending Osillations) are confirmed by the individual waves (Prime Trading Osillations)that create them.

Prof,
Thanks for the reply. I remember the analogy from long ago, as mentioned in the manual. I have to admit, this small statement captures the essence of the method. If you visualize this analogy in your head, its amazingly clear when seen in the charts. Trading from Prime to Prime is possible, and logical. Its the confirmation of the primes that makes it, which is why the method of confirmation must be concrete. Trading (holding) a position from one Prime to the next is what I intend to acheive.

I blew one. I tried a ES 343 short trade. That was my first mistake.

On 2401, selling off a PPF toward a breach, 2401 histo was prime, 16807 histo and ERG were negative. 343 ERG oscillated down around 1:37pm I sold and lost 3.75 points in 2m20secs. A new record for me I think.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Pismo, can you post your chart?

Same mistake as yesterday. 2401 ERG was Blue, below -10 and rising, and it seems you do not know if your entry chart is the 2401 or the 343 (like you said yesterday). The rules in page 10 are a great help.

This was an attempted 16807/2401/343 trade. My entry chart was the 343 so the ERG was prime and had oscillated down.

you were trading from higher highs and no pf, ERG color does not negate trade.

It was LL/LH on the Trading chart(2401) coming off a PPF around 1:35pm.
