Oh that's just my way of seeing what is the length of the average bar . . . It's the Average True Range function . . .

for now just experimenting with it . . . It helps me see after how many points in my favor I should move the stop . . .

Well, it reassuring that you already know what I'm going to say.

Use it if you wish but to me it's a distraction. Keep things as simple as you can till you get a solid grap of what is happening on your chart.
