Only true if he's using an ATS himself - which he hasn't mentioned.
In any case, an ergodic with such a long period needs a great deal of data to stabilize, and differences in the start date of the chart will make a big difference in the appearance. Also, CVB bars vary a good deal depending on data provider, etc.
My NT chart looks very close, and where it's different I can see price data differences to account for it. I still find the price action much more convincing than the indicator, though.
