No problem but I want to hear it from him that he will respect your final assessment. He already tried to pawn me off on someone who doesn't know him.

What's the problem surf, don't have any personal friends that respect you enough to give you the time of day? None willing to sit through 2 days of class and 1 full day of trading in Sunny Florida to evaluate a ridiculous claim? Wow, think of all the barbs you could throw my way when you disprove it. no, i am sorry, my close friends and i are too busy to waste the time traveling/attending. however, i as said previously, i will watch you trade via internet.
the burden of proof is on the person making the claims, not on the person whose experience tells him the claims are outrageous.
you must keep in mind, its your claims i have an issue with, not you.

I'm sorry you assume it's a waste of time. My last class had 4 Ph.D.'s that all were wonderfully amazed at what they learned but of course you and your friends are far smarter than anyone else in this industry, educators and doctorates included.
Thank God for the open minded individuals willing to make decisions on facts they can verify for themselves not unsubstantiated assumptions based on thin air and groundless opinions.

But is saying someone makes false claims without a real proof fair? Shouldn't you try to disprove Charlie first?
It seems a bit like you are finding new excuses every time he offers you something to verify/disprove his method.
You are too busy to travel, all of your friends are too busy, you won't live trade against him .... I understand that you don't have a commitment to do that, but then it's just not fair if you keep telling his method doesn't work (whether it does or does not) without a proof for yourself.
To make it clear if someone makes a statement like the Prof has, he should verify it to remain his credibility. But the same stands for making statements like you have done.
