There was a bit by one of the Eagles that raised a ruckus, mebbe back in 2002 or so. Sang about how great the USA is. Boy, were the left POed.

I don't remember who it was, but it wasn't Joe Walsh. I don't think it was. Couldn't find it easily, maybe it wasn't an Eagles member.

Just as a point of interest, the band Drowning Pool, whose song is featured in the video I posted, is very much anti-war and in support of the plight of the troops. Do a search on "drowning pool afghanistan" for example to see.

That was my question as well. Pro-war sounds a bit creepy, on either side of the aisle. Supporting soldiers who are in a war, for whatever reason makes sense however.
