Pro opinions needed

A friend has essentially given up after years on the Tastytrade way. Too many tiny wins with BIG losses.

He's on to the next phase which is selling 8 Delta strangles on various futures 120DTE.

Exit at 60 DTE or if one side gets to 30 Delta.

I only dabble minimally in options so I really have no advice for him. He didn't listen to me on the Tastytrade style anyway-LOL.

Any thoughts, suggestions on the new scheme?

I answered this with the idea of helping. I get it from the fact you are reaching for resources. I do not allow anyone I know to lose money if I am able to win money. Therefore, I conclude that you and anyone within your sympathetic reach is losing. If you are profitable then stop asking for a handout and tell your friend what makes you make money. If you are losing and reaching then face that reality.

If you are profitable, stop asking questions and start giving answers. This is a debate forum and I will wait for you educated response about your profitability. Prove me wrong and I will state that I AM WRONG. I'm man enough to admit mistakes. Am I mistaken?(pictures please) or are you not willing to help your friend?

I don't even know what to say. My friend is trying to trade options for current income, he is older than I. I trade/invest for wealth building, long term dividend stocks purchased at advantageous prices. He can't, according to him, do what I do with his time frame and financial constraints.

He is hellbent on trading options, not for me.

If you make money and he won't follow then that is on him. If you are a friend then you will make it happen for him. if you cannot help him as you are, and he cannot help himself as he is, then, as I said, your friend needs more demo(or no more hope of trading)

Glad you know the way things are, he'll come round. Making easy money has that effect on the most righteous as well as the least. Offer him what you do and then let him go. What else can you do?
