Pro NY trader goes from 200k salary down to 25k

Quote from atticus:

Enough hyperbole. I called. Hosts can earn up to $50k with seniority, and they are hiring.

im sure thats the salary, how about tip sharing? the host usually gets a percentage, no??

as a former regular patron of said establishment and being a member of the infamous club of having a mugshot on the wall ( looks like a 300 pound baby) but none the less, its there---- i will say with some authority that the "front of house" at the palm brings in far more than 25k/year. im not sure how much, but its more than 25k, likely much more.

Just reading the last page I believed you were referring to the Post Office and was wondering what reward was posted. :D

given the amount of free information out there this is exactly what he should do, learn and earn, instead of sitting on a confortable chair waiting for some customers to show up.
ps. I think we should invite him here but wait he may not own a computer or have access to the Internet.

He's probably already posting & giving advice on the Trading threads:D

The woman said that that's the expectancy for their top hosts/hostesses, all-in. Feel free to call.

interesting, im surprised. always thought those guys did better--- not sure how they survive at 25k/start.

i was guessing an average tab of 150/table, 10 tables a night = 300 plus for waiter/night----right?? and the host is the king waiter---what am i missing?

so far, so good. big fan of the restaurant!

Have you been getting bombarded with those annoying brochures from "Henley on Hudson"?

Every 3 days I get another

"YOU WAITED, YOU WON" brochure saying that they've slashed up to $700,000 off their units.

http://www.henleyonhudson.com/

Didn't care for them when they were being built. It's a dead area. Need to drive to get anywhere. Total hassle.
