there is a distinctive difference btwn prop firms and pro firms i think that it would bennefit the board and all participants if we could create a new forum specifically for prop firms ....there have been many ambiguous and heterogeneous threads and conversations because many people do not understand the fundamental differences between the two.....thanks for listening, pls respond with all thoughts etc.

The reason why we just made a single forum called "pro firms" instead of separate prop and pro forums was precisely the reason you mentioned: most people just don't know the difference anyway. Because of that, we decided to simply separate the discussion of retail firms from that of non-retail firms.
