Setting up for a pure play oil short for next week. Not sure which is the best vehicle for this yet. I do think oil will come down some next week. Iran backed out of the OPEC talks again and Saudi won't commit till Iran does... go figure huh. Rig count up today. Everybody is going to start pumping to get this price while they can. Down we go.
Venz needs to pump more to stop a total collapse of their government but will the Saudis allow Price to start making shell-oil profitable again? $35 was suppose to be CLR's break-even price a couple of years ago, tech has made it cheaper now.
I thought the combined powers of Saudi Arabia and Iran might have a greater impact though the long-term look on the chart was high. We are both diverging here which make's a great way of learning even more. You called SHAK perfectly, I hope you made bank because you said it was a short several bucks from its current price and predicted a price collapse before their earnings call, excellent work!

Yeah whatever.... I shorted oil in the last two hours and lost all that and more.... F'in A !@#$% Story of life in VZ-land.

Good Job, I wss sneaking in DPZ when their CEO appeared on CNBC after selling my Septembers for $6.00+ until another re-entry point. As you figured we both are attracted to strong stocks, HWAY made a New High. Be careful when you make your losses up so quick, you know how quick we can lose our gains. Peace!
IMO Such kinds of entities should be non-profit.
PKG was on sale today, it was nice picking up the $75 Calls heavily discounted from Friday's 52 Week High Close. The entire trade was paid for by a Penny Stock Trade I bought at $.75 and bullied the Penny Stock from $.95 to $1.01 using my old evil ways to break price points. Sold the vast bulk at $1.10, not a bad gain!
If you had held your oil position until today would you have made money? I thought you shorted oil, today all the oil stocks were selling off or profit taking a bit early in this month of August, don't you think?
