I suppose the only thing I left out is the fact that leftists make a lot of baseless claims, such as the one you made. Of course baseless claims are rampant in the prison population, so the analogy still holds.

There is a very strong class structure in prison, which is why there are varying degrees of segregation.
Housing, food, healthcare are not free, they are paid for by the prisoner's freedom, which is half the point of prison.

A prisoner's housing, food, and healthcare are not paid for with the prisoner's freedom. Your claim doesn't even make sense. How would a prisoners freedom pay for their housing, clothing, food and healthcare? It is paid for by other citizens you dolt, just like socialism. In socialism all the freebies also come at the expense of freedom, so thanks for pointing out another parallel.

Solitary confinement. Death row. Special handling units. Remand. Psychiatric. Sexual deviance. And guards typically treat prisoners in these units differently, because they're trained to, and because their emotions influence. And all those are just the forms of differential treatment the staff impose. Inmates also stratify themselves.
Your freedom is the price you pay to get the "free" housing, food and healthcare of prison. Most folks don't want to pay that price, regardless, which is why prison works as a deterrent.

Not for inactivity, but the state can raid for restitution. Banks can possibly close them for inactivity (I suppose that depends on the bank, and the type of account held), but typically inmates are allowed to make phone calls, have visits, and have a designate manage their affairs.

If social security isn't enough, just drive to your local sheriffs office with a bottle of alcohol and when you think you are over the limit check in. And keep doing that everytime they let you out until your social security payments have added up to enough that you can comfortably pay for your own rent, food and utilites, and retire.
