Megyn Kelly Battles Governor Jindal Over Push To Prohibit Immigration Of Radical Islamists
Megyn Kelly went head to head with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) Wednesday night over his efforts to ban the immigration of Muslims who promote radical Islam.
On Monday, Jindal told listeners at the conservative American Action Forum that the United States should not allow any immigrants to enter the country who might "use the freedoms we give them to undermine the freedoms we grant to everyone."
Jindal has since come under fire from Muslim organizations because of his statements. Groups like the Muslim Public Affairs Council and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) have blasted Jindal's proposition as "fearmongering" and a "desperate attempt" for votes.
On Fox News' "The Kelly File" Wednesday night, Jindal clarified that his comments only referred to "radical Muslims," like those who "treat women as second-class citizens."
"Why would I want to allow people who want to kill Americans to come to America?" he said.
Kelly responded that she thought is was "controversial" for the Governor to discriminate against anyone who believes in Islamic Sharia law.
“Who decides how far into Sharia law you have to be?" she asked. "Who decides who’s a radical Islamist and who’s just an Islamist?”
Jindal responded that as long as a person is not causing harm to another person, then they have a right to be in the U.S. They do not have the right, however, to come to the U.S. and impose certain strict beliefs like those regarding women and children, he said.
"Why don’t you have that right?" Kelly shot back. "Why not? This is a country with lots of crazy beliefs. And actually, some religions continue to treat women as second class citizens and it's not just some forms of Islam. Are we going to start banning everybody who doesn’t treat women or children or criminals for that matter the way we like?”

Bill O'Reilly Lied About Rescuing Me During Buenos Aires Riot, Says CBS Cameraman
Accused of lying on multiple occasions about his reporting experiences, Bill O’Reilly has maintained that “everything I’ve said about my reportorial career — everything — is true.” But now the cameraman who O’Reilly worked with in Buenos Aires after the end of the Falklands War has come forward to challenge the Fox host’s account of what happened.
O’Reilly has maintained that his coverage of the riots in Buenos Aires after the end of the Falklands War constitute having “reported on the ground in [an] active war zone” and having “survived a combat situation in Argentina during the Falklands War.” In addition, he has said he rescued a CBS colleague who “got run down and then hit his head and was bleeding from the ear on the concrete.”
“The camera went flying. I saved the tape because it was unbelievable tape. But I dragged him off the street because he was bleeding from the ear and had hit his head on the concrete,” O’Reilly said in a 2009 interview.
But Ignacio Medrano-Carbo, who worked with O’Reilly during the protests, tells liberal magazine Mother Jones that he was neither injured nor in need of rescue.
“I never fell nor was I bleeding out my ear at any time during my Buenos Aires assignment,” Medrano-Carbo told Mother Jones in a statement. “I do not even recall Mr. O'Reilly being near me when I shot all that footage nor after I left the unrest at Plaza de Mayo that evening.”

There's only one difference between radical and moderate muslims, the radicals are the ones who are doing the dirty work: the killing, the raping, the beheading and the moderates are the ones who approve and support that. Bill O’Reilly reacted to the Iran deal this afternoon on Fox by saying everyone should hear it out first before jumping all over it, because the last thing the U.S. needs is war with Iran. Shortly after President Obama spoke on the deal, O’Reilly told Gretchen Carlson the best thing to do now is “take a deep breath, step back, and say, ‘Okay, let’s hope it’s a decent thing.’”
And while O’Reilly did take a shot at the “failure” of Obama’s foreign policy, he argued the deal is worth considering. “You don’t want a war with Iran,” he said. “You don’t want to be bombing that country, because the unintended consequences will set the world aflame. So if you can get something that’s decent, you give it a shot.”
Carlson brought up the terrorism issue as to why the U.S. might not be able to trust Iran. O’Reilly said the U.S. has negotiated with bad people before and asked, “Do you destroy the country? We could do that, but that would be a world war.”
