believe it or not, they are owned by Citibank, they were actually part of Smith barney for awhile...the premise is simple.....You show up, you want to join and to get to your first 'level' you have to have 3 life policies sold ( they only sell term insurance)....so if your a 25 year old, you will buy one for your self, your parents and a cousin or two and POOF!...your now promoted....to what nobody knows or cares but the guy above you just sold 3 insurance policies!....thats why he wants you to recruit 2 or 3 friends and neighbors....kind of ingenious when you think of it....kind of scummy as well.
