Price tag of North Carolina's LGBT law: $3.76B

Wow, I wonder what the "losses" will be over 100 years? A really really big number I bet.

Some people would say that losing an NBA all star game is a net plus for a state that does not idolize rap thugs, hookers and drug dealers and the inevitable violence they bring.

The money that was not blown on a concert by some over the hill phony like Springsteen was not just burned. It was likely spent elsewhere.

I fault the state for taking this kind of intimidation and not fighting back. If the ACC wants to penalize NC, which is where the conference was founded and which supported it for decades, I say fine. Pull the state schools out of it and levy crippling taxes on the conference. Same for the NBA. Or maybe cancel the MLK holiday.

I have little interest in the actual law. What infuriates me however is out of state financial interests trying to dictate the state's laws. Isn't that subverting democracy a lot worse than any russian hacking?

My principles are not for sale or negotiable by threats from bullies.

Who runs the state of NC anyway? Do the voters and the legislature or does the homosexual lobby?

Do the people of that state or any other want the homosexual lobby to run the state and have veto power over laws?

This could have a beneficial effect in the long run if it convinces people fleeing liberal hellholes in the north to skip NC and migrate elsewhere. Particularly the homo activists, of which NC already has a surplus.
