Whomever said that is a dummy. Trendlines DO work (just not as well as horizontal lines).. Channels DO work, BIG TIME. Don't take BS to heart. Observe and think for yourself.

I will give Scat a benefit of doubt.

Perhaps he knows how to trade but he did not disclose the secret.

Anyway, trading is more of an art than a science.
We can't describe art with words but through emotions and feelings.

I have no "secret". I never intended to teach "Price TA... KISS". I only wanted to draw attention to the methodology for those who want to succeed*. And it's not MY methodology.... it's Chaper One in Technical Analysis 101. It seems wannabes want to "skip Chapter One" and get onto the "good stuff"... just like stepping over a pile of money expecting a bigger pile lies further down the trail.

I have handed $Millions worth of gold info to the thread. If traders are so blind as to not recognize it, what can I do? It's like the famous Dick Cavett quip, "You can lead a whore to culture, but you can't make her think".

* This may not matter to many... but I have intentionally NOT "handed it over on a silver platter" to the ET board. I've guided but left it up to those who can figure it out. I recall the 1st time I made $1 Million in the markets... I was giddy about it for 6 months. When I told my parents, they didn't believe me. LOL!

That was such a thrill, I wouldn't deprive others from the satisfaction of "getting it for myself" rather than having it "handed to me"... beyond the money, no personal satisfaction from accomplishment. Gotta say, making it for myself without any help from anybody was a wonderful feeling.

I've given y'all a bit of help. Up to you to take it from there.

Bottom Line... I haven't revealed any secrets.. there aren't any. Just read Chapter One of Technical Analysis 101 and take it to heart.

Small part "art" (The "art" part is where to place stops. No correct answer). DISCIPLINE... Overcoming "feelings and emotions" are part of getting good at it.)

TRADE WHAT YOU SEE... regardless of what you think, hope, feel, news, anticipate, etc.
