Price or volume?

Next week I would like to trade silver and natural gas because this week they have had strong movements.
The advantage?
It is obvious, the price moves more.
The disadvantage?
It is obvious, they are futures with less liquidity. Some traders only trade ES each day.
Have you ever had a cash flow problem, got scared and then decided to stay in ES forever?
Why did they come to that conclusion?
Why don't you look at other markets?
There is always some future that is more fashionable than another.
Why stay alone with ES?
Can an experienced trader clarify it for me?
Thank you very much and greetings to all.

Daytrading. Intentionally limit the capital in trading account. Got no problem to trade my system on CL/NG/ES/GC/SI. I also trade Asian futures. Only trade one US and one Asian instruments at a time for easier position sizing. I only change to other futures instrument in the same continent per week if I want to.

day trading futures

trading the appropriate futures is very important to improve the odd of success.

most index futures are highly tradable.....
that include es ym rty
dax fesx
hangseng, Taiwan index, china A50, India Nifty, SET50 ...

hard commodities are great too.
that include
crude oil, copper, natural gas

futures that I'd say quite OK for trading are
- bonds like ZN, ZB, germany bund, ...
- major currencies like eur gbp aud

How about gold ( and silver) ?
despite all the publicity,
I will avoid trading it due to its chaotic movement

futures that I wouldn't touch
- corn, soya, Wheat, lumber, lean hog, Bitcoin, exotic currencies, HO, RBOB ...

Looks like SLV is going up ;
+AGQ is most likely going past its 77% ytd %%.
Too easy to blow up in nat gas-- did the 3x etf some/but hardly ever 'cause I have a 15 year chart...………………………………………………………….
No; good thing about IBKR= you will never say in es forever/LOL.
Just because a billion buck hedge fund blew up in nat gas,t Boone Pickens went bankrupt in gas but not oil,+ CHK went To pennies /nat gas.And CHK founder killed himself does not mean I NEVER TRADE GAS...…………………………………………………………………………………….LAST TIME I got scared/LAST WEEK I SOLD WITHA SMALLER PROFIT/ETF

The xau / usd pair also has a very strong movement:rolleyes:

on 11 aug 20, there was very long red candle.
since then , its day range has shrank.

as mentioned earlier, its movement could be erratic.
so have to be careful.
