Toucan, thanks for the reply on the charts and good job man. looks like you're consistently making positive trades.
 
1 trade today: -1,75

Today was bad dicipline. I didn't take a lot of trades even though they were a part of my system. traded from 2-4 PM, so lost out on the clearest short I've seen in a while around 11 AM.

Well... I think I learn most of my mistakes... STAY POSITIVE :)

I do apologize for just now seeing your question to me. Okay, here's a link to the info I posted regarding pullbacks:

Take a look at the chart I've attached. To keep things fluid for this thread, I used 10000V for the chart. But use any interval you want and then measure out pullbacks from recent Swing Pivot Highs and Lows (aka, most recent market structure).
I'm just adding a little oregano to the sauce (price action). Now see how it taste.

I wanted to use my first post to say thanks for all your contributions to this forum and your AHG method. I hope you will continue to post your charts and stay somewhat active as I know I learn so much from your every post.

I have been lurking for awhile and want to begin to be more active on the boards as my knowledge increases.


Thanks to everyone who posts and gives daily input...you are really helping a beginning trader learn. Keep up the good work guys!

I'm trying out ninjatrader for 3 months and would like to use it with the anek techniques detailed here and other journals. Any links to where to locate the indicator setup? Just tell me where to search and I'll do it.

Has anyone followed Al Brook's articles in Futures Magazine? I skimmed right over them as they required some effort to read, i.e. you had to count back and forth based on a bar number he provided in the graphic.

I was reading some back copies and decided to actually read his articles word for word and look at the graphic and see how each bar matched up with his description. I have to say what he writes about is excellent and follows hand in hand with what is being discussed in this thread as well as similar threads.

I bring this up because of the similarities and wonder if anyone else has noticed this?
