DB thinks you should lock yourself in your car or something and call for backup. Or if comes to using your weapon, aim for his foot.
I haven't done the job in 15 years, so no patrol car. Sorry. Lol (Every now and then, iimagine myself staying a Trooper to retirement. yes, i begin shaking violently scared lol.)DB thinks you should lock yourself in your car or something and call for backup. Or if comes to using your weapon, aim for his foot.
In a Safariland Level II retention holster on my right side. Soooo... What that means is, after I were rendered unconscious, or incapacatated by a 300 POUND SIX FOOT FOUR, attacking, violent velon, he might just have to strain a little to roll over a 215lb (me-then), 5'11" State Trooper in order to obtain a firearm to murder with. Oh, forgot to add. He could also unsnap my mag pouch on my (left side, if you need to know), and slide out two loaded Thirteen round .45 ACP magazines to go along with his newly "obtained" 13+1 rounds, ready to fire, pistol...
DBP, please tell us more about your insights on racism in America; as a middle-class, white apologist...
He already did. He's going to defend them to the end, but if he ever encounters a group of teenagers, he's going to fall down and cry like a little girl so they leave them alone.... Then he's going to buy them a drink (in violation of the liquor and underage delinquency laws, mind you...)
In a way, db's like the Black Knight in MP's the Holy Grail - he'll defend them to the end even as they are the ones putting him in the ground...
When idealism and reality meet on the playground, reality kicks idealism's ass, and steals their lunch money... And comes back tomorrow to do it again...
So assuming your door was open for some reason, he'd have to reach between you and the steering wheel, reach the retention holster on your right side, extract it from the holster, release the safety (assuming it was engaged), unwedge himself in order to point the barrel at you, and then fire, all the while you're struggling to prevent him from doing any of this?
Not trying to be argumentative. You're the first person who's posted, as far as I know, who has any idea how this works, and I'm curious, particularly since the ME said there were no signs of a struggle.

I'll have to laugh, as you just don't know what yo don't know.. I was dispatched to a disturbance call where as soon as i pulled in, the suspect dove through my rolled down window, in an attempt to shove my foot on the accelerator, throw punches, and try to get my .45 upholstered. Should I have shot him until he stopped the attack? Hell yes, I should have!! I couldn't get to my .38 in my ankle holster during the struggle as he was INSIDE IF MY CRUISER, ON TOP OF ME!
