Public health guidelines are made by public health officials not the Governor with an executive order overriding what the legislation said.

I am surprised you are not appaled at the governor use of an EO to override something the legislature that represents the people already acted on.

for at least a century, state and local public health agencies in the United States have been charged with protecting residents’ health and safety by monitoring infectious diseases and other health hazards, informing the public and taking action in an outbreak.

But in this pandemic, top federal, state and local elected officials have taken the lead in performing those functions, not public health agencies.

When governors and local elected leaders decided to reopen, often encouraged by vehement residents and businessowners demanding an end to shutdown orders, many complied despite warnings from public health officials that infections were still rising.

Didn't we just go through this type of thing five days ago? Note, this article below is NOT about Doocy even though the headlines may look that way.

The reality is that Biden is under stress as all of his failures and falling polls mount up, And in such an environment, a "stupid question" is defined as one that is either not pre-approved by his handlers or does not arise out of a media outlet that serves as an extension of the White House/DNC.

Keep in mind that Biden is the one who said he was going to bring civility back to the White House and would "immediately fire" anyone who acted disrespectively.

The only saving grace about some this Biden asshole actions these days is that he has fallen out of favor with most Americans so anything he does now goes right to the bottomline in polls and in regard to the midterm election. Joe has started losing ground bigtime now in his last remaining polling area where the public has always been willing to toss him a few points and bone. ie. "likeability." But he is down a quart there now and still falling. MORE TO COME. Being an asshole accelerates it.

More voters have moved into the range where they no longer dislike Biden just for his policies. Increasingly, they don't like HIM as person. Keep standing out on the front lawn of the white house and shaking your fist at everyone and calling them stupid, "George Wallace", etc. See how that works out. It will always work out for the tards here because they stopped caring about Biden long ago and as long as Psaki wears their favorite sweater they are are all set. WRONG

The current Virginia law states:

Each Virginia school board is required to offer in-person instruction that adheres “to the maximum extent practicable” to COVID-19 mitigation guidelines from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC currently recommends universal masking by anyone 2 and older, regardless of vaccination status.

That is the law in VA. Youngkin wants to circumvent the law and issue an Executive Order. I thought you cons liked following the law and the separation of powers.


This is not about your personal opinions, this is about a Governor issuing an EO to override what the legislature has passed as law. If the new Governor does not like it then the legislature can change the law.
