Not really. Evangelicals properly perceived that Christianity and religious freedom in general are increasingly threatened in this country and had to decide which candidate would be a better advocate for protecting their freedoms - even if the candidate was not an incarnation of their moral views. Not to forget, that having Pence on the ticket helped massively.
Hillary's moral authority has not exactly improved with time either. She had that one great day where she talked about moving on and staying involved by becoming a methodist minister. Then a few days later she went on her FUCK YOU AND ALL THINGS AMERICAN book tour and has just become an even more bitter old witch who thinks that christians are just part of the deplorables syndrome.
Yeah, define religious freedom and we can take it from there.
