It seems the Democrats are going to call it politics if the Republicans try to cut domestic programs to balance the budget. But, besides defense about the only thing left are domestic programs.
Obama should be concerning himself with oil prices and reversing his anti-energy policy. Huge cuts in domestic programs are unavoidable if the budget is ever going to be balanced.
Let Obama argue for his $3.5 trillion budget for the next year and not address energy and the whole democratic party will be tossed out of office.

Nope, energy is a complex topic, and it will be easy to divert attention. To the children, to the elderly, you know the drill.
