President Trump is Psychotic -- Psychiatrist L. Dodes Says

Explain to us then why the American Psychiatric Association sent a warning letter to their members "re-affirming the Goldwater rule stating that mental health experts must not offer a professional diagnosis of any person they have not personally examined' after the "Duty to Warn" crowd put out their letter and website.

Trump appointee?

For the last year or so, this thread is just a convenient effort to switch the topic. Brandon is in charge. It does not go well. So, let's keep talking about Trump. I would like to hear more discussions about the present but it is so sad that people like you do not want to talk about it. When I said "like you" I mean all who voted for the disaster a year ago. Thank you for all your efforts.

Sure, let's forget about the first psycho that attempted coups in the history of the republic, is still running a cult that 35% of the population believe in, is attempting to run a shadow government by playing King maker on legislation and legislators, and is a favorite for reelection.

Who was the Trump appointee?

Cuddles is just flinging bullshiat against the wall... hoping something will stick.

By the way Maria A. Oquendo, M.D., Ph.D was the president of the APA at the time she authored the warning letter issued by the organization. The selection of the president of the APA does not involve any type of appointment by a political party or U.S. President.

The members of the organization elect the president. Dr. Maria A. Oquendo was the first Latina to be elected president of the APA.

I'm not flinging anything. I'm asking a question in jest for all the ballwashing yes men Trump put in positions to praise him or clean up his shit

Most state licensing boards have accepted the APA/ACA as the ethical norm, and violation can lead to loss of license.

Attaching the word ethics to an association rule does not make it a matter of medical ethics but professional and only according to one medical association but not all of them. There is also the duty to inform under the law which overrides an association's bylaws.

I know you seek a very simple understanding of the matter but the grown up world is not so cut and dried as I found a word on my Google search.

There are clear medical guidelines against a psychiatrist pushing claims about an individual they never personally examined. These guidelines are in place to prevent quacks from pushing their "analysis" for political or personal purposes. Lance Dodes has clearly violated these guidelines and should lose his credentials as well as membership in medical organizations immediately. Quacks like this are a worst threat to the United States than politicians.
you'll be tickled at his latest health report that he definitely didn't write because that would be crazy and you've defended the fact that he couldn't be crazy:

I have been President Donald J. Trump’s personal physician since 2021. During this time, I have conducted several comprehensive examinations, the most recent being September 13, 2023, and have supervised specialist consultations along with ancillary testing for screening and preventative health maintenance.

I am pleased to report that President Trump’s overall health is excellent. His physical exams were well within the normal range and his cognitive exams were exceptional. In addition, his most recent extensive laboratory analysis remains well within normal limits and was even more favorable than prior testing in some of the most significant parameters, most likely secondary to weight reduction.

Cardiovascular studies are all normal and cancer screening tests are all negative. President Trump has reduced his weight through an improved diet and continued daily physical activity, while maintaining a rigorous schedule. It is my opinion that President Trump is currently in excellent health, and with his continued interest in preventative health monitoring and maintenance, he will continue to enjoy a healthy active lifestyle for years to come.
