President Trump is Psychotic -- Psychiatrist L. Dodes Says

It is fascinating the John Gartner is not facing action from medical organizations for his inappropriate acts which violate all medical standards for shrinks.

Dr. John Gartner, Founder of "Duty To Warn" and co-editor of "Rocket Man: Nuclear Madness and the Mind of Donald Trump," joins the 'David Pakman Show' to discuss the mental health conditions he believes Donald Trump has, which would justify his removal from the Presidency under the 25th Amendment to the Constitution.
That's all well and good. But stand back and look at the bigger picture. You well know that Trump is entirely unfit for office and should be nowhere near the nuclear access codes. If Trump's utter incompetence, mental imbalance and general disregard doesn't frighten you, then you may wish to consult a shrink of your own. Good luck.

You do realize that a good number of U.S. Presidents have demonstrated utter incompetence, mental imbalance and general disregard while in office. Grant may have not had a sober moment during his presidency.

The Presidency tends to attract narcissists with large egos. Some of them are not very bright.

Are you trying to excuse Trump, or just explain him away? I won't pretend to know the history of it, but if I had to guess, I'd say that Trump will go down as the biggest buffoon ever to occupy the White House. At the very least, in modern history.

Trump’s manifest grandiosity and disregard for facts, beginning with failure to accept clear evidence about the size of the crowd attending his inauguration, put mental health professionals in the spotlight from Day One of his presidency. Mental health professionals and commentators from all ideological camps early converged on a label of narcissistic personality disorder as the condition that clearly “explains” Trump’s behavior. Many mental health professionals have come forward to make this assertion, including more than 70,000 who signed a petition warning of Trump's potential dangerousness, despite longstanding professional injunctions against "diagnosing" public figures whom experts have not personally examined. Americans remain divided as to how authoritarian or grandiose Trump may or may not be, and who has the authority to make clinical pronouncements or draw historical parallels.
Everyone one of them should have their licences revoked..

Doctors should never make clinical diagnosis without having completed an in-person consultation.
Ridiculous. Partisan. LOSERS.

I may agree with you about the biggest buffoon in modern history possibly but not in history. You really need to take a look at some of the previous presidents back in time.

It's a whole nuther topic but many leaders who had deficiencies nevertheless orchestrated them into service to the country- resulting in much criticism and moral superiority on the part of those who were also benefiting from their doing the dirty work that needed to be done.

"Grant took care of me when I was crazy and I took care of him when he was drunk"

Yes... and Grant was well-known for being drunk for most of his presidency -- even though modern day historians have been attempting to re-write this.
