What they could do here is embarrass Rubio by starting a go-fund-me to replace the money he gets from the gun manufacturer controlled groups like the NRA.
Rubio/Cruz are the direct result of a political funding culture where the guy who will take money from any donor stays on top. Hard-boiled sociopaths dominate politics because they will do whatever it takes for funding.
In another part of the evening Cruz explains that the NRA money is not as important to him as their brainwashed followers who provide him with tangible and intangible assistance.
