President Trump:Burn the Flag and lose your citizenship

One thing we can all thank Trump for doing is for promoting discussion on topics such as this. I think that is pretty good for the country in the long term.
OH MY, love him or hate him, it's going to be one wild ride with this guy. Somebody needs to put a Twitter block app on his phone. Personally, I'd like to kick the shit out of these flag desecrators, but they do have the right to do it and a president who gets himself in a twist over this isn't very smart.
Agreed. I think he is trying to bring a little pride back to the US mental landscape.

Business doesn't like wild rides. Remember when Obama was being criticized for creating so much "uncertainty" for the business community?
OECD REPORT just out:

Global growth will pick up faster than previously expected in the coming months as the Trump administration’s planned tax cuts and public spending fire up the U.S. economy, the OECD said on Monday, revising up its forecasts

If we're confident Drumpf is going to go full Keynesian, as that describes, and not be blocked by reps in Congress, or simply reverse his position again, then the possibility for growth is there. But keep in mind that there's not much slack in the labor market, especially in construction, so if he does this it's going to cost government a lot--this should have been done during Obama's first term, but it got massive pushback because... "deficits and debt are bad!"

LOL! Tell that to asshat Obama. He respects nothing of "duty to uphold" nor "respect" for the US Constitution.... though he falsely swore to "uphold it".

I'm not "pounding the table" on flag burning, though I admit to being less comfortable with allowing it without consequence... if for no greater reason than as a matter of respect.

Just keep in mind that justifying Trump's behavior with "But Obama did it too" will be no better the next four years than when the left said "Bush did it too" as a defense for Obama's behavior.

Aren't you supposed to be in 9 days of mourning Drumphass?

I think we are beyond that. We've gone full blown hypocritical. Now all we need is mercy for the guy who beats the shit out of a flag burner, calling him (or the whole crowd of vets) a victim of a hate crime or something.
