Yet the video of the entire event shows this to be completely untrue.
Here is the complete video. Naturally the complaint will be that the camera was not on Biden the entire time so we don't know if he looked at his watch when the camera was focused elsewhere.

I was merely making very clear what others will say about the video. But yes, there is composite uncut video of the event available.
That's the problem. The camera was seldom on Biden, so they admit that there is no complete footage of Mr Biden's reactions. I'll go with the gold star families assertions. They were intently watching him.
